These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Application by authorized users of Healthcare Settlement Services LLC ("Company"). By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. License and Authorized Use
The Application is provided solely for internal business use by authorized employees, contractors, and agents of the Company. Access is granted on a limited, non-transferable, revocable basis for the purpose of managing medical lien cases, financial tracking, and related operational workflows.
No rights are granted to use the Application for any purpose outside the Company’s authorized business activities.
2. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Access the Application only with authorized credentials
- Use the system solely for legitimate business purposes
- Maintain the confidentiality of login information
- Refrain from attempting to bypass security controls or access unauthorized data
Users are responsible for all actions performed under their accounts.
3. QuickBooks Integration
The Application integrates with QuickBooks Online to retrieve financial and accounting data relevant to case operations. Such access is performed only with proper authorization from a QuickBooks administrator. Users must not attempt to use the integration to access unrelated or unauthorized financial data.
4. Data Accuracy and Reliance
The Application aggregates and displays operational and financial information for internal business use. While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, the Company does not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. Users are responsible for verifying information before relying on it for financial or legal decisions.
5. Security and Access Controls
Access to the Application is restricted to authorized users. The Company may monitor usage, suspend access, or revoke credentials at any time to protect system integrity, security, or compliance obligations.
6. Confidentiality
All data accessible through the Application is confidential business information. Users agree not to disclose, export, or otherwise share such information except as required to perform authorized job duties.
7. Intellectual Property
The Application, including its software, design, and underlying data structures, is the proprietary property of the Company or its licensors. Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the Application without prior written authorization.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Application is provided as an internal business tool on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Application.
9. Modifications
The Company may update or modify the Application and these Terms at any time to reflect operational, legal, or security requirements. Continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination of Access
Access may be suspended or terminated at any time if a user violates these Terms, no longer requires access for business purposes, or if required for security or compliance reasons.
11. Governing Use
These Terms govern internal use of the Application within the Company’s business operations and do not create any rights for external third parties.
